Thanks for visiting the SMT Music website. Originally from Toledo, Ohio I landed a spot in the 1st violin section of the Louisville Orchestra as a young guy fresh out of music school. I continued advanced studies in violin and conducting at the University of Louisville. I’ve played weddings for over 25 years.

As an arranger and composer I enjoy the nuts and bolts of music. All of the music on the new CD, “I’ve Dreamed of You” was adapted and arranged by me for strings and piano. I wanted to put out a CD that could be re-created by live musicians at your wedding. (click here for a few samples)

I am proud to say the musicians who you will encounter while working with SMT Music are the best this region has to offer. All are experienced, reliable and talented professionals. High volume is not our goal. Quality is. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality available in this region. Much of the music we perform is unique to SMTMusic. All of the arrangements in Candle Lighting were created by me for our patrons.

If you use our service you will be dealing directly with me. If you’re having a wedding ceremony I coordinate all of the music. If you’re hiring a band I act as the liaison between you and the band leader and venue. I make sure everything is on target. Other agencies merely act as a booking agent. They collect their commission and go to the next score.
